can a bustad leads prayer n why

    • Salam Ayatullah…

There’s no evidence in Islam, that an illegitimate child (or who you call ‘busted’) cannot be an Imam for Solat. This is to say, an illegitimate child can, just like any eligible Muslim male, lead in prayers an an Imam. This is provided he possesses piety, and reads Qur’an well.

Here, I see the necessity to indicate; that a child does not bear responsibility of the wrongdoings of his parents. Therefore, he would/should only be judged for what he has committed.

    Assalamua’laikum ya ustaz, I have a question.
Is the prayer accepted if there is/are lahnun jalii that occured during the recitation of suratul fatihah?

    • Salam Habibi,

Surah Al-Fatihah is one of the most essential components of any Solat, one performs. This is simply because, it has to be recited in every single Raka’ah.

In addition to that, the Prophet, salla Allahu ‘alaihi wasallam has said in an authentic Hadeeth: “There’s no prayer (Solat) for the one, who did not read Surah Al-Fatihah.”

On this basis, scholars have concluded, that anything that may make Surah Al-Fatihah incomplete invalidates the Soalt. Such as making mistakes while reciting the Surah. Such mistakes can be pronouncing its letters differently, and making silent letters active or vice versa. For example, replacing س with ش or س with ص. Replacing ض with ظ and others

If one is not perfect in his Al-Fatihah recitation, he may pray for himself, while he learns to master the Surah. But until he masters the Surah, he shouldn’t lead congregation in Solat.

When it’s said, that “he shouldn’t lead in Solat”, it means his solat is invalid. Whether the solat is accepted by Allah or not, only Allah knows. But as far as measures set for Solat are concerned, his Solat is invalid.

But if let’s say, the person has difficulty in pronouncing one letter, then it shouldn’t be a problem, since it’s natural. But if that same person can’t pronounce many letter properly, even if it’s natural, he shouldn’t be leading in Solat, while there are others who can recite better.

It’s more of responsibility, more than it’s of job.

      Allah knows best.

Assalaamu alaikum,my question is,what about the saying we say before slauqhtering, because christians can say it

    • Christians and Jews are not required to slaughter their animals the way Muslims do it. Muslims are also not allowed to do it the way they do it, but we (Muslims) are allowed to eat their slaughtered meats.

I hope I’ve answered your question, my dear Brother, Banini.

  4. Assalmu alaikum brother, Please what is the injunction on oral sex in Islam. For me i feel it is unhealthy and dirty. i have a sister that her husband compel her to do it and she always feel is wrong but she has nothing Islamically to defend herself

    • Salam Brother Ibrahim,
As far as I know; so far, Muslim scholars don’t have evidence that dictates, that oral sex is forbidden in Islam.

However, I’ll personally not encourage it, not only because it may expose one to undesired dirt, and possibly health issues, it’s also because, the mouth (tongue and lips) with which one recites the Qur’an and remembers Allah shouldn’t be used in licking and sucking.

By saying this, oral sex, is still not Haram, until further notice.
      Allah knows best.

  5. Assalamu alaikum, Mal. please my question is, when performing Tarawih prayer with an Imam and one happens to misses one complete Nawafil out of say ten . can an individual complete the ten Nawafil by performing an extra ?

    • Salam Brother Musa,

Yes. One can top up any amount of Raka’ahs he did not manage to do with the Imam.
In fact, he can also perform more than the normal amount, performed by the Imam. So to say, if the Imam prays 10 (nawafil), and you want to do 20, you can do so. It’s even encouraged.

      Thanks for asking.
      Allahu Hafiz 🙂

  6. assalaamu alaikum,
i heard someone say Prophet Mohammad’s death was due to poison. Is this really true?

    • Salam Zato,

The Prophet Muhammad, salla Allahu ‘alaihi wasallam, was once given poison through meal (of bone stick). The meal was prepared by a lady who wanted to test; whether he was a true Prophet or not. If he was a true Prophet, he would be given revelation to inform him of the poison, and if he was not, then they could get rid of false prophet.

True enough, when the bone stick was presented to the Prophet, he had one bite, Allah made the bone stick communicated with him, to tell him, that it was poisoned.

The Prophet then asked for the women to be brought before him. She confessed and explained her motives. She was pardoned.

The Prophet lived for long, after that incident, although, the side effect of the poison (from the one bite) remained and troubled him, from time to time.

The conclusion is, the Prophet didn’t die to poison, otherwise, he would have died immediately after tasting the poison.

      Allah knows best.
