Du'a: #10 Protection with Islam

One thing you'll never want to sacrifice is your Islam, no matter how challenging situations happen to be. And no matter how confusing and chaotic the atmosphere seems. The Prophet ṣallā Allāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam used to ask Allah for perseverance with Islam at all times. Let’s spare some time to make ourselves comfortable with this du’a.

اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي بِالإِسْلَامِ قَاعِداً وَاحْفَظْنِي بِالإِسْلَامِ قَائِماً وَاحْفَظْنِي بِالإِسْلَامِ رَاقِداً وَلَا تُطِعْ فِيَّ عَدُوًّا حَاسِداً. وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَنْتَ آخِذٌ بِنَاصِيَتِهِ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الخَيْرِ الَّذِي هُوَ بِيَدِكَ كُلُّهِ.

“O Allah, protect me with Islam, as I sit; protect with Islam as I stand; protect with Islam as I lie down, and do not obey [the desire of] an enemy and green-eyed in me,. I seek refuge in You; from the evil of what you control, and I beg you for the good, which is all in Your Hands.”
