رَبِّ أَعِنِّي وَلَا تُعِنْ عَلَيَّ، وَانْصُرْنِي وَلَا تَنْصُرْ عَلَيَّ، وَامْكُرْ لِي وَلَا تَمْكُرْ عَلَيَّ، وَاهْدِنِي وَيَسِّرِ الهُدَى إِلَيَّ، وَانْصُرْنِي عَلَى مَنْ بَغَى عَلَيَّ. رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي لَكَ شَكَّاراً، لَكَ ذَكَّاراً، لَكَ رَهَّاباً، لَكَ مِطْوَاعاً، إِلَيْكَ مُخْبِتاً أَوَّاهاً مُنِيباً. رَبِّ تَقَبَّلْ تَوْبَتِي، وَاغْسِلْ حَوْبَتِي، وَأَجِبْ دَعْوَتِي، وَثَبِّتْ حُجَّتِي، وَاهْدِ قَلْبِي، وَسَدِّدْ لِسَانِي، وَاسْلُلْ سَخِيمَةَ قَلْبِي.ـ
“My Lord, help me and do not help against me, support me and do not support against me, and plan for me and do not plan against me. Guide me, ease the way of Your guidance to me, and, help me on the one who transgresses on me. My Lord, make me, for You a grateful [servant]; for You a remembering [servant]; for You a fearful [servant]; for You an obedient [servant]; humble to You, tender-hearted and oft-returning to You. My Lord, accept my repentance , and wash my offence, and answer my call, and confirm my argument, and guide my heart, and direct (direct) my tongue, and remove illness of my heart.”
