Dua: #36 Praises for the Creator of Everything

Allah subḥānahū wa ta‘ālā initiates Sūrah Fāṭir with these beautiful lines of praises, that teach us how to glorify Him.

الـحمْدُ لِلَّـهِ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، جَاعِلِ الْـمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُولِـي أَجْنِحَةٍ مَّثْنَى وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ، يَزِيدُ فِي الْـخَلْقِ مَا يَشَاءُ. إِنَّ اللَّـهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ.ـ

“All praise belongs to Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, who made the Angels His messengers, with wings; two, or three, or four pairs. He adds to His creation whatever He wills; for Allah has the power to will anything.” (Sūrah Fāṭir, 35:1)
