Du’a #80: Praying for Blessed Offspring (1)

This is the du‘ā’ Sayyidunā Zakariyyā ‘alayhi al-salām said and was blessed with a blessed offspring after he had been barren for long.

Text

رَبِّ هَبْ لـِي مِن لَّدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً، إِنَّكَ سَـمـِيعُ الدُّعَآءِ.ـ

“My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication.”

Pluralized

رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّاتٍ طَيِّبَةً، إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ.ـ
