Du’a: #33 Du’a For Humbleness and Humility

Sayyiduna Sulayman ‘alayhi al-salam was, once upon a time given the power to rule mankind and jinkind.

In addition to that, he was able to communicate with the animal kingdom and command them. Yet, he was humble and submissive to Allah. One of the du’as which said (or used to say) to keep him on track is the du’a I’m sharing with you in this video.

رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِىٓ أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَىَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَىَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَـٰلِحًا تَرْضَىٰهُ وَأَدْخِلْنِى بِرَحْمَتِكَ فِى عِبَادِكَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ ﴿١٩﴾ ـ

“Lord, inspire me to be thankful for the blessings You have granted me and my parents, and to do good deeds that please You; and include me, by Your grace, among Your righteous servants!”
