Du’a: #45 I have Been of the Wrongdoers

This is the du‘ā’of Sayyidunā Yūnus, which the Prophet ṣallā Allāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam says, “whoever invokes with it will be answered.” Note that the supplication only contains glorification of Allah and admitting to one’s wrongdoing. The du‘ā’ reads:

لاإِلَـهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّـى كُنتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّالِـمِينَ.ـ

“There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.”

Pluralized

لا إِلَهَ إِلا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنَّا كُنَّا مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ.ـ
