Du’a: #56 Assist Me to Worship You in a Bette Way

Sayyidunā Mu‘ādh ibn Jabal raḍiya Allāhu ‘anhu narrates that the Prophet ṣallā Allāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam held his hand and said to him “O Mu‘ādh, I love you.” He then taught him to say this following /du‘//ā’/ after every prayer:

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّـي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ.ـ

“O Allah, help me to remember You, be grateful to You and worship You in a better way.”

Pluralized

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنَّا عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ.ـ
