After all the struggles, the pains, the little sacrifices, Allah’s acceptance is what we all aim for. Sayyidunā Ibrāhīm ‘alayhi al-salām was quick to remember this after he and his son, Ismā‘īl ‘alayhi al-salām finished building the Ka‘bah as per Allah’s instruction. He said:

رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ… وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَآ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ.ـ
“Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, All-Knowing. And accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the One who accepts repentance, Most Merciful.”
