Du’a #89: Prayers For Ourselves and for Our Brethren

This du‘ā’ is very significant. In addition to seeking forgiveness for ourselves and our Muslim brethren, we also ask for clean hearts towards all Muslims.

Text

“Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed, You are Kind and Merciful.”
